Job summary

Gallagher in Phoenix, AZ is hiring a Senior Accountant to join a growing team focused on risk management consulting services. You will prepare GL reconciliations, analyze variances, and assist with budget forecasts while supporting client financial statements and audits.

Required: Bachelor's in Accounting and 2 years of related experience; preferred: CPA, US GAAP knowledge, strong communication and process-improvement mindset. Travel up to 5% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• 2 years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepares various general ledger account reconciliations.
• Reviews client accounting staff reconciliations.
• Performs budget to actual variance analysis.
• Assists with compilation and consolidation of financial information for client statements.
• May present financial reports to client management and external clients.
• Assists with monthly, quarterly or annual billings to client members.
• Supports external auditor requests and maintains documentation.
