NEW MEXICO MUTUAL is seeking a Senior Accountant – Integrion to prepare, reconcile, and analyze financial statements for the Integrion Group. The role supports tax reporting, audits, and internal controls within the Finance department in Albuquerque, NM.

The position requires 4–6 years of accounting experience, GAAP knowledge, and strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. CPA/CIA/CFE preferred but not required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
• 4-6 years of accounting experience, with preferred audit experience that includes evaluating the adequacy of internal controls and business processes and direct communication with clients.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
• Ability to monitor own work to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Professional communication with internal and external contacts.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, reconcile, and analyze Integrion Group’s financial statements.
• Manage annual tax and compliance reporting to appropriate agencies for clients.
• Support in external audit functions and preparation of audit documentation.
• Perform internal audit functions over SOC 1 controls and assist in SOC audit process.
• Assist in annual budget and financial forecast preparation.
• Reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements; prepare reconciliations and reporting.
• Lead client insolvency activities including certifications and reporting as required.
• Contribute to development and oversight of processes, controls, and procedures.
• Provide reporting support for Board and advisory committees as needed.
• Review postings and postings accuracy; train team as needed.
