Job summary

TP Mechanical, LLC. in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Senior Accountant to work with the Controller on general accounting functions, ensure GAAP compliance, perform analysis, and reconcile accounts.

This role reports to the Controller and collaborates with the Accounting Team. You will handle reconciliations, invoicing, payroll support, and month-end close activities, while maintaining confidentiality and leveraging advanced Excel skills to deliver accurate financial statements and timely

Qualifications

• Minim 5 years' experience in contracting business or accounting.
• 3+ years of senior level accounting experience.
• Full knowledge of GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Perform various reconciliations of general ledger accounts, including bank reconciliation and investigating discrepancies.
• Maintains and sets vendors.
• Processes internal company invoicing.
• Assist with Accounts Receivable and Account Payable functions.
• Participate in various month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate completion.
• Assists with the reviewing of weekly payroll.
• Processes daily receipts.
• All other duties as assigned.
