Amrize North America Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to support management accounting and financial operations for the US cement terminal distribution network.

You will ensure SOX compliance, prepare budgets, analyze monthly results, and collaborate with terminal managers and finance teams. The role involves developing accounting policies, performing month-end close, and supporting regional financial planning.

Qualifications

• Field of Study: Accountancy or Finance.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree; MBA/CPA/CFA/CMA a plus.
• MS Office, Google Suite, ERP proficiency.
• Travel up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SOX internal controls for inventory and fixed asset processes across 80+ cement terminals.
• Report actual performance vs forecast and budget; provide analyses and recommendations.
• Assist in capital expenditure proposals and track project capitalization.
• Perform month-end close and journal entries; reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze plans vs actuals; support monthly/18-month rolling forecast and mid-term plan.
• Prepare monthly regional reports and assist management with risk/opportunity analyses.
• Contribute to cross-functional projects and ensure regulatory compliance.
