Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Senior Accountant to support the US cement terminal distribution network from the Dundee area. The role focuses on internal controls, budgeting, monthly results, and coordinating with plant management to meet financial targets.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, a Bachelor's in Accountancy or Finance, and proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems. Travel to terminal sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or Finance.
• 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• MBA/CPA/CFA/CMA a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Ensure SOX internal controls for inventory and fixed assets across 80+ cement terminals.
• Provide accurate reporting of actual vs forecast and budget; profitability analysis by terminal.
• Assist in capital expenditure proposals and monitor project capitalization; perform asset audits.
• Close monthly books; prepare journal entries and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
• Analyze plans vs actuals including payroll and third party services; support forecasts.
• Support regional reporting and risk assessment; assist monthly regional management reports.
• Interpret SAP data to explain business drivers and opportunities for value creation.
• Participate in cross-functional projects; ensure GAAP adherence and policy compliance.
