Job summary

Grand Pacific Financing Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support daily accounting operations, maintain the general ledger, reconcile bank accounts, and prepare financial statements.

You’ll also enter transactions into the loan servicing system, gather information for annual audits, assist with cash management activities, and prepare billing and payoff statements. The ideal candidate is organized, deadline-driven, with strong communication and customer service skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• At least 5 years of accounting-related work experience
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and QuickBooks
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented and highly organized
• Must possess problem-solving and time-management skills
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily/monthly transaction journal entries, A/P, and general ledger
• Prepare G/L control
• Prepare all financial statements
• Prepare all worksheets for financial statements
• Prepare CPA and HQ annual audit information
• Prepare management meeting templates
• Cash management - retrieve reports, deposit checks, input ACH debit, outgoing wires, and upload A/P information
• Prepare daily/monthly bank reconciliation
• Data entry into the loan service system
• Generate billing statements and payoff statements
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
• Other duties as assigned
