Job summary

MCI is seeking an Experienced Accountant to oversee financial operations, reporting, and compliance for its BPO business in the United States. The role focuses on financial statements, payroll, tax compliance, and variance analysis while supporting budgeting and audits.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of accounting experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance, and CPA or equivalent certification. Proficiency with QuickBooks, Sage, and Xero is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification.
• 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a BPO or service-based industry.
• Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of IFRS or GAAP standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Assist with internal and external audits.
• Maintain accurate financial records and documentation.
• Collaborate with leadership on financial planning and strategy.
