Job summary

Madrigal is seeking a Senior Accountant in Waltham, MA to support core accounting operations in a publicly traded pharmaceutical environment. You will drive the monthly close, prepare journal entries, maintain internal controls, and assist with audits and financial reporting.

The ideal candidate brings 3+ years of accounting, a BA/BS in accounting or finance, and experience with NetSuite and US GAAP. A dynamic, fast-paced setting and cross-functional collaboration await.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting or finance experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Public company and/or life sciences industry experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support inventory accounting and related journal entries.
• Manage accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations per US GAAP.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, year-end close and analyses.
• Support external audits and SOX controls.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting.
