Qualifications

• 3+ years of finance or related analytical field experience.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA (preferred).
• 2+ years of Fortune 500 operational accounting experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of GAAP and FASB codification.
• Experience with COSO internal control framework.
• Experience researching and documenting accounting conclusions.

Responsibilities

• Support AWS Data Center accounting and reporting processes.
• Own end-to-end Capex and Opex accounting to support finance and business partners.
• Assess internal controls design and propose improvements.
• Close monthly books and escalate risks.
• Lead accounting tasks and projects.
• Enhance partnerships with business and IT groups.
• Prepare technical accounting position papers.
