Job summary

Siemens Energy seeks an experienced senior accountant focused on automation and digital tools to join our finance team. You will support monthly and annual close, enhance digital workflows, and drive cross-functional projects across financial operations.

The role emphasizes leveraging SAP, Power BI, and Tableau to streamline reporting, strengthen controls, and enable data-driven decision making for global financial processes.

Qualifications

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field; CPA designation strongly preferred.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally with exposure to reporting and digital/automation initiatives.
• Strong proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Office, with hands-on experience using data analytics or visualization tools such as Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau.
• Proven ability to take initiative and independently drive complex projects and process improvements, including leveraging automation to enhance financial workflows.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and senior stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Reporting and Financial Statement preparation: Assist in month-end, quarter-end, and annual financial reporting.
• Digital Projects: Drive digitalization opportunities and implement tech-enabled process improvements.
• Operational Improvement: Lead workshops on digital tools and document processes for continual improvement.
• Financial Controls: Improve reconciliations, journal entries, and compliance with central accounting requirements.
• External Audit Liaison: Prepare SAP-based reporting packages for audits.
• Planning and Valuation: Support planning, long-range consolidation, and CGU/goodwill analytics.
