Family Health Centers of San Diego is seeking an Accountant II to perform a variety of accounting tasks, including analysis, reconciliation, and ensuring general ledger accuracy. The role involves internal and external audits and guiding lower-level staff as a liaison to customers and auditors.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and 5 years of accounting experience, with healthcare experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
• 5 years of accounting experience is required.
• Healthcare experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal, payroll, and/or general ledger entries with proper documentation.
• Assist with audits, including schedules and data gathering.
• Review financial reports for errors and ensure timely remittances.
