AVAILABILITY Professional Staffing is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant in California's Central Valley to join an established CPA firm. You will manage audits from planning to completion, perform financial statement work, and interact directly with clients and leadership to grow the firm’s audit practice.

This role emphasizes ownership, autonomy, and visibility within a collaborative, close-knit firm setting.

Qualifications

• Hands-on audit experience required; not entry-level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• CPA license or progress toward licensure is a plus.
• Experience with audit planning, fieldwork, workpapers, and engagement completion.
• Strong accounting and financial statement knowledge.

Senior Staff Accountant – Audit opportunity with a well-established CPA firm in California’s Central Valley!

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced public accounting professional who enjoys audit work but is ready for more ownership, autonomy, and visibility. You’ll join a close-knit firm where you can work directly with clients and leadership while becoming a key part of the firm’s audit practice.
