Job summary

ZipApply is seeking a Senior Accountant-AR/Revenue to manage complex billing, revenue recognition, and cash application within the Supply Chain function. You will own reconciliations, month-end close, and reporting while improving processes and controls.

The role requires 4+ years in AR/revenue accounting, strong Excel and ERP experience, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams. CPA or CPA-track is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field required.
• Master’s in accounting/finance or CPA certification preferred.
• 4+ years in AR/revenue, billing, or general accounting with complex reconciliations.
• Experience in franchise, retail, distribution, or multi-unit environments is a plus.
• Strong Excel and ERP system experience (SAP/Oracle/NetSuite/MS Dynamics).
• Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end billing and invoicing processes with accurate customer invoicing.
• Handle accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Apply incoming payments to customer accounts and resolve unapplied cash or short payments.
• Perform bank reconciliations and assist month-end/year-end close for AR/revenue.
• Prepare recurring AR/revenue reports and analyze trends for improvements.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve billing issues.
