Job summary

Kearfott Corporation in Black Mountain, NC seeks an experienced Senior Accountant & Analyst to support financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and decision-making. You will partner with Finance, Accounting, Program Management, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Operations daily.

The ideal candidate brings 5–8 years in financial analysis, solid Excel and ERP experience (SAP/IFS/Oracle/NetSuite), and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, IFS, Oracle, NetSuite) and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

Overview:

Kearfott Corporation is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant & Analyst to join our team in Black Mountain, NC. As the Senior Accountant & Analyst, you will support our manufacturing plants in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making. You will work closely with cross-functional teams across Finance, Accounting, Program Management, Supply Chain, Contracts, and Operations on a daily basis through frequent in-person collaboration and coordination. The ideal candidate will possess strong financial modeling skills, business acumen, a strong foundation in accounting, and the ability to analyze complex financial data to provide actionable insights that drive organizational performance.

Essential Functions

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and identify variances.

Education & Experience

• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Demonstrated expertise in balance sheet analysis and cash flow management.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, IFS, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Must be US Citizen

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA, CPA, CFA, or equivalent professional certification.
• Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, technology, or other relevant industries.
• Knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools.
