Job summary

Kearfott Corporation seeks an experienced Financial Analyst to join our Black Mountain, NC facility. You will support manufacturing finance with planning, budgeting, forecasting, and business decision-making.

You will work with Finance, Accounting, Program Management, Supply Chain, Contracts and Operations to provide actionable insights and drive performance with strong financial modeling and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• 5–8 years of financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling).
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, IFS, Oracle, NetSuite.
• US Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Develop financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning activities.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts and identify variances.
• Conduct profitability, cost-benefit, and trend analyses to support business decisions.
• Collaborate with business units to gather financial data and provide analytical support.
• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
• Evaluate KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Prepare presentations and reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Analyze market trends, operational metrics, and business performance to identify risks and opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance financial reporting and operational efficiency.
