Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to join our team in a full-time, on-site role at our Carson, CA location. The successful candidate will oversee financial operations, including preparing financial statements, managing journal entries, and maintaining fixed asset registers. This role also involves conducting financial analysis, ensuring compliance, and collaborating with various departments to support the company’s financial health and growth.

This is a small company, which means your work is visible and your ideas get heard. We’re actively looking to improve our systems and processes, and we want someone who comes with opinions about how to do things better, not just someone who maintains the status quo.

Experience with Advanced ERP software is a must, and ideally with Prophet21. Inventory experience also is a must.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge and experience in creating Financial Statements and managing Fixed Assets


• Proficiency in performing Journal Entries (Accounting) and other general accounting functions


• Excellent Analytical Skills to interpret financial data and inform business decisions


• A background in Finance with knowledge of financial principles and standards


• Proficiency in financial software and tools


• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills


• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field


• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA is a strong advantage


• Experience with product-based companies and inventory is required, and experience with e-commerce is helpful


• Experience with water systems, manufacturing, kitchen, plumbing or related industries is a plus but not required
