Job summary

LHH is assisting a national manufacturing company in Dodge County in its search for a Senior Accountant to join the finance team. This newly created role offers the opportunity to shape processes and partner with the CFO for strategic insights.

Key duties include month-end close collaboration, analysis of production costs and variances, budgeting support, fixed assets, and GL reconciliation related to inventory. Manufacturing experience is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Manufacturing experience REQUIRED.
• Ability to work independently.
• Ability to interact and communicate with upper-level management on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CFO on month/year end close procedures.
• Analyze actual production costs and prepare variance reports.
• Assist with forecasting and budgeting for division.
• Maintain fixed asset registers.
• Analyze and reconcile GL accounts related to inventory.
• Provide support for other accounting functions as needed.

• Partner with CFO on month/year end close procedures

• Assist with forecasting and budgeting for division
• Maintain fixed asset registers
• Analyze and reconcile the general ledger accounts related to inventory
• Provide support for other accounting functions when needed

Job Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• At least 2 years of relevant experience
• Manufacturing experience REQUIRED
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to interact and communicate with upper-level management on a daily basis
