Job summary

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, intercompany accounting, and advanced Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close with journal entries and GL reviews.
• Manage intercompany invoicing, reconciliations, and cross-entity transactions.
• Oversee cash management activities, reconciliations, and forecasting.
• Prepare payroll-related accounting entries (benefits, profit-sharing).
• Generate financial reports, revenue recognition forecasts, and variance analyses.
• Support capital project reporting and ad hoc financial analyses.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Assist audits and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with domestic and international teams and improve processes.
• Utilize ERP systems, including Infor LN or similar platforms.

As we continue to grow and invest in our new headquarters and manufacturing operations in Westminster, South Carolina, we're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to play a key role in our financial operations and reporting.

In this position, you will support the monthly close process, financial reporting, account reconciliations, intercompany transactions, cash management, payroll accounting, and audit activities. You'll collaborate with both domestic and international teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and drive continuous process improvements in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do

• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, general ledger reviews, and account reconciliations.
• Manage intercompany accounting, invoicing, reconciliations, and multi-entity/multi-currency transactions.
• Support cash management activities, including bank reconciliations, cash forecasting, and reporting.
• Prepare payroll, benefits, profit-sharing, and employee-related accounting entries.
• Generate financial reports, sales reporting, revenue recognition forecasts, commission calculations, and variance analyses.
• Support capital project reporting and ad hoc financial analysis requests.
• Maintain accurate accounting records, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
• Identify and implement process improvements, internal controls, and accounting best practices.
• Assist with internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company accounting policies.
• Partner with domestic and international teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
• Provide guidance and support to accounting team members as needed.
• Utilize ERP systems, including Infor LN or similar platforms, to support financial operations and reporting.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of:
• Month-end close processes
• Account reconciliations
• Journal entries
• Intercompany accounting
• Advanced Microsoft Excel
• ERP systems (Infor LN experience is a plus)
