Qualifications

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification in progress acceptable.
• 2+ years of progressively responsible accounting experience.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience working in a remote team environment.
• AI experience (e.g., Claude, Copilot) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide key support to various finance functions.
• Implement and maintain accounting systems, software, processes, and procedures.
• Maintain a system of controls over all accounting transactions.
• Develop financial and operating metrics and identify improvements.
• Leverage AI tools to streamline processes.
• Assist with interim and annual audit requests.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly reporting packages and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting and tax filings.
• Support annual budget and monthly forecast initiatives.
• Oversee accounts receivable including invoicing and collections.
• Update balance sheet reconciliations monthly and timely.
• Process cash receipts and update client accounts.
• Maintain cash flow spreadsheets for assigned entities.
• Produce ad hoc reports and special projects.

Position Overview:

Do you have a knack for numbers? As a Senior Accountant you will be supporting the daily, weekly, and monthly needs within the revenue side of the Finance team. We seek a motivated, self-starter who prioritizes attention to detail and accuracy. The Senior Accountant must be able to work with sensitive and confidential information, making trustworthiness essential, along with strong verbal and written communication skills. Being a team player is paramount as we work in a team-oriented environment.
As a member of our Finance Team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the financial integrity of our organization. You'll use your diligence, as well as your keen eye for details, to support our company and clients, ultimately impacting the financial trajectory of our company. What you'll be working on:

• Provide key support to various finance functions.

• Leverage AI tools to streamline and automate processes.
• Assist with interim requests and annual audit requests.
• Assist in preparation of accurate and timely monthly reporting packages including financial statements.
• Comply with all local, state, and federal government reporting and tax filings.
• Support annual budget and monthly forecast initiatives.
• Oversee accounts receivable process, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing and payment collection.
• Ensure allbalance sheet account reconciliationsare updated monthly within deadlines.
• Receive cash and update client accounts as needed.
• Update and maintain cash flow spreadsheets for assigned legal entities.
• Ad hoc reporting as required, including special projects as necessary.
• Collaborate with various departments, including sales, and operations to ensure seamless integration, support business initiatives, and streamline processes.
• Possess a customer service mindset to ensure all internal and external customers are satisfied.

What you bring to the role:

• ACA, ACCA, CIMA qualification (in process acceptable)
• High level of proficiency with Excel
• Ability to work in a remote team environment.
• Demonstrate 2+ years of progressively responsible experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Critical thinking and problem solving
• AI skills (Claude, Copilot, etc)

Bonus points if you have:

• Familiarity with SAGE Intacct accounting software
• Exposure to international groups and IFRS is a plus
