Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Senior Accountant to join our corporate team.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Manage P&L and Balance Sheet accounting for assigned areas, including journal entries, account reconciliations, analysis, and schedules.
• Handle cash accounting processes.
• Oversee prepaid accounts, accrued expenses, reconcile bank accounts, and maintain the general ledger.
• Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
• Research and analyze financial variances for monthly fluctuation reports (P&L and Balance Sheet) and resolve issues promptly.
• Support adherence to Shared Service Accounting policies and best practices.
• Develop and maintain business process documentation for core activities.
• Proactively identify opportunities for process improvements and lead change initiatives.
• Operate independently with an analytical mindset, understanding problems deeply and proposing effective solutions.
• Communicate effectively across various management levels, influencing and collaborating with teams.
• Demonstrate a desire to learn new skills and adapt to changing environments.
• Apply strong business acumen and attention to detail in daily tasks.
• Meet tight deadlines efficiently.
• Prepare footnote disclosures as required.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 7 years of accounting experience.
• Experience with ERP systems and other support applications preferred.
• Proficiency in applying US GAAP and managing complex accounting issues.
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, pivot tables, etc.).
