Senior Accountant

Senior Accountant will lead a team of staff accountants responsible for performing general accounting responsibilities, ensuring all financial schedules and deadlines are met and accurate.

What You'll Do

• Supervise and assist the daily work of team members, including analyzing, researching, and preparing financial information to meet specific daily and monthly deadlines.
• Review team members’ invoice coding, journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and month‑end schedules.
• Ensure the accuracy and timely completion of all team financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Assist team members with cost center, account and budget set‑up, and review proposed additions to budgets.
• Manage and delegate ad‑hoc reports and assignments as needed.
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal departments such as Legal, Human Resources, and Marketing.
• Help professionally develop all staff accountants.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of department‑wide plans, goals, and deadlines.
• Oversee the close process.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree from a four‑year college or university, major in accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience, with supervisory experience considered a plus.
• Strong understanding and working knowledge of US GAAP.
• Advanced experience using MS Office Suite, especially Excel.
