Job summary

shieldtp is seeking a Senior Accountant to apply accounting principles, analyze financial transactions, and design and re-engineer processes to improve efficiency. This role collaborates with colleagues across departments to report results to Operations and Executive teams and to prepare financial statements and reconciliations.

Preference will be given to candidates located in the Tampa, FL or New York City areas to support periodic in-person collaboration at local office locations.

Job description

The Senior Accountant will understand accounting principles, analyze financial transactions and create and re-engineer processes to gain efficiency. This position will work with colleagues in multiple departments on reporting results to Operations and Executive teams. This person will also be responsible for the preparation of financial reports, analysis and reconciliation of accounts.

Preference will be given to candidates located in the Tampa, FL or New York City areas to support periodic in-person collaboration at local office locations. The role also includes approximately quarterly travel for company meetings, trainings, and team collaboration events.
