Job description

Our client, a woman-owned commercial HVAC contracting company, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team. This position will be worked fully onsite at their office in Smyrna and the desired work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7am - 4pm.

If you are an accounting professional who has some supervision or "lead" experience and you are now ready to grow into an Accounting Manager role, this could be the right opportunity for you. Our client is looking for candidates who enjoy handling accounting tasks while also managing and developing a small team. This position will report to the Controller of the company and she is looking for someone who learns quickly, communicates early and often, doesn’t need a lot of direction, and is a go-getter. If you love improving processes and organizing, there will be opportunities for that as well. In this role, you will touch all aspects of the accounting cycle so a flexible and team-oriented attitude is important. You will have the opportunity to communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers at all levels of the organization, so someone with a professional, yet warm and friendly personality will be a great fit.

The candidate selected will also need to take the test to become a notary. This will be paid for by the company. And a Drug Screen is part of the onboarding process.
