Job summary

Beam Global in San Diego, CA, seeks a hands-on accounting professional for our headquarters. This full-time, on-site role reports to the Accounting Manager and covers general ledger, AR, payroll, reconciliations, audit/compliance, and tax filings. You will partner with Sales, Production and Engineering to support cost controls and manufacturing schedules.

• Maintain journal entries and ensure data integrity.
• Process accounts receivable invoicing and customer payments.
• Process bi-weekly payroll for ~50 employees using ADP.
• Perform month-end bank and account reconciliations.
• Support audit, compliance, and tax filings with internal and external teams.
• Collaborate with Sales, Production, and Engineering to support cost controls.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

We are looking for a hands-on self-starter in our San Diego headquarters.
This is a full-time, exempt, on-site position.
The position will report to the Accounting Manager.

• General Ledger Management:Maintain the integrity of accounting data by verifying, allocating, and entering journal entries.
• Accounts Receivable: Ensure timely invoicing to customers, accurate application of customer payments, and prompt follow-up on past-due accounts.
• Payroll: Process bi-weekly payroll with ADP software for approximately 50 employees.
• Account Reconciliations: Perform bank and account reconciliations at each month-end.
• Audit & Compliance:Prepare workpapers and schedules assigned. Ensure adherence to internal controls and legal regulations.
• Taxation:Prepare sales and use tax calculations and filings. Coordinate with external tax team to prepare workpapers for federal and state tax filings.
• Cross-Functional Partnership:Collaborate with accounting and other departments, such as Sales, Production, and Engineering, to meet manufacturing schedules and support cost control initiatives.
• Other duties as assigned.
