Job summary

OCI Energy LLC in San Antonio, Texas, seeks an experienced Senior Accountant to support a growing organization in a fast-paced environment. You will handle general accounting functions, month-end close, and financial analysis within a small cohesive team.

Responsibilities include GL maintenance, processing AP/AR, preparing monthly financial statements, and tracking fixed assets. CPA or CPA track and Big 4 experience are a plus; construction/renewable industry experience is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; MBA a plus.
• 3+ years of accounting experience including financial reporting, AP, AR, and fixed assets.
• Experience with Partnerships/LLCs; construction or renewable industry a plus.
• Big 4 experience and CPA or CPA track a plus.
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills; able to multi-task in a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Report month-to-month variances to budget with analysis.
• Record costs of under-construction and newly acquired fixed assets; track depreciation and amortization.
• Review/process weekly AP; travel and expense report audits.
• Review/process monthly customer invoices and record cash receipts.
• Assist with filing government forms as needed.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to provide support for a growing organization in a fast-paced environment. JOB SUMMARY:

Under general supervision by the Controller, the Senior Accountant maintains all accounting functions of OCI Energy including financial analysis. This position will also be responsible for monthend closing, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Fixed Assets.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain general ledger, including journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Process accounts payable and account receivable invoices
• Prepare financial statements including reports for monthly operations reviews.
• Report month to month activity and variances to budget and provide appropriate analysis and
• Responsible for recording the cost of under construction and newly-acquired fixed assets, tracking

existing fixed assets, recording depletion, depreciation and amortization and accounting for the

disposition of fixed assets.

• Responsible for reviewing/processing low volume, high value weekly Accounts Payable,

including invoice processing, travel and expense report audit and processing and exception

• Responsible for reviewing/processing monthly invoices to customers and recording cash receipts.
• Assist with filing of various Government Forms as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline; advanced degree or MBA a plus
• Three plus (3+) years of Accounting experience
• Experience will include full financial reporting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and fixed assets
• Previous experience working with Partnerships and/or LLCs
• Background in Construction and/or Renewable industry a plus
• Big 4 experience and CPA or CPA track a plus
• Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
• Self-starter with effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work in a growing team environment
• Oracle experience preferred
