BMSS Advisors & CPAs is seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join our Client Accounting Solutions team in Ridgeland, MS. You will work with diverse clients to deliver tailored accounting services supporting operations and financial success.

The role emphasizes hands-on accounting, client interaction, and collaboration within a values-driven team. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 5+ years of relevant experience are preferred, with multi-state payroll knowledge highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years accounting experience, preferably in public accounting.
• Strong working knowledge of payroll processes including multi-state experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles.

We're actively seeking a detail-oriented, client-focused Accountant to join our growing Client Accounting Solutions (CAS) team. You'll work closely with a variety of clients to deliver tailored accounting services that support their ongoing operations and financial success. What You'll Do

• Communicate proactively with clients to address needs and identify opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting from an accredited institution
• 5+ years of relevant accounting experience (public accounting highly preferred)
• Strong working knowledge of payroll processes, including multi-state experience
• Solid understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
• Detail-oriented mindset and ability to manage deadlines effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Located near a BMSS office or willing to commute/relocate
