Job description

  • Manage and support the month-end close process, including preparing and reviewing journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Prepare and review financial statements and internal reporting packages for multiple entities
  • Lead CAM reconciliations, including tenant bill-backs, expense allocations, and year-end true-ups
  • Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis related to property-level expenses
  • Support external audits, tax preparation requests, and compliance reporting
  • Work closely with property management and operations teams to ensure accurate expense tracking and allocation
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and strengthen internal controls
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3–7+ years of accounting experience, preferably in real estate, property accounting, or investment management
  • CAM Experience
  • CPA preferred but not required
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas)
  • Experience with accounting systems/ERPs
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines across multiple entities
