Priority Envelope, Inc. is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our team and manage core financial processes.

The role covers journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, financial reporting, and month-end close to ensure accurate statements. You will assist the VP Finance with year-end close and audit, prepare state sales tax returns, payroll processing across all locations, and support benefits renewals and fixed asset maintenance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with month-end close and financial reporting.

Working toward our goal of being our customers Preferred Partner by providing unparalleled customer experiences, team members collaborate on decisions, work within welcoming teams, and share in a strong sense of pride for the work that is done!Join our team as Senior Accountant!The Senior Accountant is responsible for various Corporate financial reporting and account reconciliation and analysis.Responsibilities:Prepare journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, develop and prepare financial schedules and consolidated month-end financial statements and other financial reports.Participate in and assist VP Finance with year end close and audit, account reconciliation, schedules and statements.Prepare and submit state sales tax returns.Review job close, job costing and inventory validation reports for accuracy and make corrections as needed.Review and approve credit and rebill requests.Maintain fixed asset schedules and update with additions and deletions on a timely basis.Process payroll for all company locations, including submission, reporting, commission calculations, garnishments, and child support processing.Assist with annual benefits and insurance renewals.Provide guidance, backup and support, and direct the work load for corporate Billing Specialist and Credit/Collection Specialist.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field and three to five years of progressive accounting experience preferred. An equivalent combination of education and relevant accounting experience may be considered in lieu of a degree, based on the candidate's overall qualifications, knowledge, skills, and demonstrated ability to successfully perform the position.Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience in a manufacturing or warehouse facility required.Computer experience and proficiency with Accounting and Payroll systems, Microsoft products including Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMs, and the ability to learn new software as needed.Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive and proprietary information and material.Demonstrated ability of clear communication, attention to detail and ability to handle numerous projects, prioritize workload, work with minimum supervision with fast-paced expectations and accountabilities.Benefits:Medical, dental, and vision insuranceHSA/FSACompany paid and supplemental life insuranceShort-term and Long-term disability insurance401(k) with company matchVacation/ESST accrualCritical Care, Hospital, and Accident InsuranceTuition reimbursement programEOE
