Job summary

Doman Lumber seeks a Senior Accountant to support the Shared Services Controller in financial planning, analysis, and reporting. Based on-site in Plano, you will improve accounting processes, coordinate audits, and assist with budgets and treasury activities for a large North American organization.

The role requires strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge, 3–5 years of experience, and a CPA is preferred. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financials and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• 3–5 years in finance experience.
• Public Accounting or Big 4 experience preferred.
• Strong GAAP/IFRS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and coordinate external audits.
• Support FP&A activities including variance analysis.
• Improve accounting processes and internal controls with cross-functional teams.
• Assist with tax filings and business licenses at various levels.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and participate in budgeting.
• Support treasury functions including cash flow forecasting and bank audits.
• Handle ad hoc finance projects as assigned.

Doman Lumber is seeking to add to our talented team!As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for supporting the Shared Services Controller and team in financial strategy, financial planning and analysis, financial reports, company audits, compliance, and bank relationships along with various AP/AR liaison. They will collaborate with the operational and leadership teams to assist with information regarding the company's financial strategy and operations. This is a roll your sleeves up – onsite opportunity to become part of a large growing North American organization.The ideal candidate should possess a strong background in Finance/Accounting with emphasis on general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, Building Materials experience a plus.
