Key Responsibilities - Senior Accountant
- Lead key aspects of the month-end and year-end close process.
- Manage revenue recognition activities in accordance with ASC 606, including deferred revenue schedules.
- The Senior Accountant will prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
- Analyze financial data and investigate variances and unusual activity.
- Support internal and external audits and assist with financial reporting requirements.
- The Senior Accountant will partner with FP&A, operations, and other cross-functional teams on accounting-related matters.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting, and internal controls.
- The Senior Accountant will assist with special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed.
Qualifications - Senior Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience; SaaS or public accounting experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of GAAP and technical accounting principles, particularly ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Experience with NetSuite or a similar ERP system.
- Strong Excel skills and experience working with financial data.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
