Atlantic Group in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Senior Accountant to join a growing organization where your accounting expertise drives meaningful impact. You’ll engage in month-end close, financial reporting, GL, fixed assets, inventory, tax compliance, and process improvements, partnering with accounting leadership across the business.

The ideal candidate has a BA in Accounting and 2+ years of corporate accounting experience, with strong Excel skills, ERP familiarity, and excellent analytical

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate environment
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, GL, reconciliations and financial reporting
• Experience with ERP systems
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint and financial analysis skills
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsabilités

Atlantic Group is seeking a Senior Accountant in Philadelphia, PA for a growing organization where your accounting expertise will play a meaningful role in the company's continued success.

What You'll Do

• Own Key Close Activities: Support the monthly close process, prepare journal entries, perform reconciliations, and contribute to timely and accurate financial reporting.
• Manage Fixed Assets: Maintain fixed asset schedules, depreciation records, and supporting documentation.
• Support Inventory Accounting: Assist with inventory accounting, reporting, analysis, and reconciliation activities.
• Strengthen the General Ledger: Review financial activity, investigate variances, and reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Support Tax & Compliance: Prepare sales and use tax filings and maintain documentation supporting accounting and compliance requirements.
• Improve the Process: Identify opportunities to streamline accounting procedures, reporting workflows, and financial recordkeeping.
• Partner Across the Business: Work alongside accounting leadership and internal stakeholders to support operational accounting needs and continuously improve financial processes.

What We're Looking For

You're a detail-oriented accounting professional who combines strong technical skills with curiosity, sound judgment, and a desire to grow.

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 2+ years of accounting experience in a corporate accounting or related environment
• Hands-on experience with month-end close, general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Experience working with ERP systems
• Strong Excel skills, along with PowerPoint and financial analysis capabilities
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Professionalism and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
