Job summary

Fitler Club in Philadelphia is seeking a Senior Accountant to help tell the story behind the numbers in a fast-paced hospitality setting. You’ll own month-end close, revenue recognition, and reconciliations while partnering with club leaders to drive smart decisions.

This role emphasizes attention to detail, GAAP expertise, and collaboration across departments including membership, hotel, and events. On-site in Philadelphia five days a week.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of accounting or finance experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement preparation.
• Proficiency in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Confident communication and collaboration across an organization.
• Hospitality/hotel/club/service industry experience is a big plus.
• Accounts Receivable or member billing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own key pieces of the month-end close, including revenue recognition, reconciliations, and P&L analysis.
• Track and communicate revenue trends and financial performance to department leaders.
• Manage Accounts Receivable across membership, hotel, and private events.
• Partner with managers to resolve billing and member account questions.
• Support payroll and tip reconciliations.
• Assist with annual budgeting and provide financial insights to leadership.
• Help identify opportunities to improve operational and financial performance.
• Serve as a trusted partner to the Controller and teams across the Club.

We’re looking for a detail-oriented, analytical, and collaborative accounting professional to join our Finance team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being close to the business and working in a fast-paced hospitality environment where no two days look exactly the same.

In this role, you’ll:

• Own key pieces of the month-end close, including revenue recognition, reconciliations, and P&L analysis

• Has experience with Accounts Receivable or member billing—even better
• This is a full-time, on-site position in Philadelphia, five days per week.
