The role requires 3+ years of accounting and tax experience and a CPA designation, with strong presentation and client-facing skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting and tax compliance experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop relationships with firm clients as trusted advisers on all accounting, tax compliance and planning for businesses and individuals.
• Interview clients to understand tax and financial goals and collaborate with the Financial Planning Team to craft comprehensive strategies.
• Lead business and personal income tax compliance, strategy and planning for clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Collaborate with wealth management to advise on wealth strategies.
• Mentor and develop junior team members.
• Communicate with clients and IRS/state/local tax authorities.
• Network to promote firm and drive growth.

They are seeking a professional with at least 3 years of accounting, and business and personal income tax compliance and planning experience along with strong interpersonal skills and a client service mind set to join their growing practice.

What you will do:

• Develop relationships with firm clients acting as their trusted adviser on all accounting, tax compliance and planning for businesses and individuals.
• Interview clients to develop a deep understanding of their overall tax and financial makeup, and goals and work with the Financial Planning Team to develop a comprehensive business, tax and wealth management strategy.
• Lead business and personal income tax compliance, strategy and planning for clients.
• Prepare and review financial statements.
• Partner with the firm's wealth management team to develop and suggest wealth management strategies.
• Lead and develop junior team members.
• Lead communications with both clients, and federal (IRS), state and local tax officials.
• Network and develop relationships to promote firm awareness and drive practice growth.

What's required:
