Hansa Biopharma, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team in New York City. This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in the accounting and financial reporting activities of a publicly traded biotechnology company (Nasdaq Stockholm). The position will be responsible for payroll accounting, general ledger management, account reconciliations, month-end close activities, and assisting with reporting internal controls, and compliance with accounting standards. Experience with both GAAP and IFRS would also be beneficial.
The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting skills, public company experience, and the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving biotechnology environment.
This role will be based at our NYC (Manhattan) office when opened and will require the individual to be at a daily commuting distance from NYC on a hybrid schedule.

Estimated salary range for this role is $110,000 - $135,000 annually. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications, skills and experience of the individual applicant, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographic location of the individual. The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.
