Baysora is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its financial team, overseeing accounting operations, maintaining GAAP-compliant records, and strengthening internal controls in collaboration with the CFO. This role supports informed decisions as the firm grows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience including month-end close and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Experience in a professional services or multi-client environment preferred.
• Detail-oriented, organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication and collaborative mindset.

Responsibilities

• Own the monthly close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and financial statement preparation.
• Maintain the general ledger, balance sheet schedules, and supporting documentation.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll coordination, and cash management.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts on a monthly basis.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and variance analyses for leadership.
• Maintain depreciation and amortization schedules and track asset balances.
• Partner with the CFO on budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Help design, document, and maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures.
• Support annual audit and tax processes, working with external auditors and advisors.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and increased efficiency across the accounting function.

About The Role

Key Responsibilities

Working with Multiple Clients

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
