Job summary

Thermal Process Holdings in Walworth County, WI is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will manage the general ledger, prepare financial statements, and oversee AP/AR and cash flow management in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes accurate GAAP reporting, process improvements, and collaboration with auditors and cross-functional teams. Onsite schedule Monday–Friday dayshift with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• 3–5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• CPA designation or active pursuit strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in SAGE 100 and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
• Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and cash flow management.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Coordinate with external auditors and support annual audit preparation.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations and filings.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency and accuracy.
