Join an organization that ensures a more secure world through connecting and protecting our customers with inventive electrical solutions.**WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:*** Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial transactions, including recurring journal entries, month-end account reconciliations, and GRIR (Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt) reconciliation.* Research and analyze general ledger account variances to support financial accuracy and insight.* Manage the Fixed Asset process for the site including CER, oversee fixed asset accounting, and generate reports for users.* Lead inventory reconciliations and inventory count processes, including tracking open purchase orders, conducting monthly inventory reporting, and supporting materials forecasting.* Provide proactive analysis and support to the finance team, including KPI and shipment reporting (BOL tracking and creation), ad hoc data requests, and project work.* Maintain SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley) compliance documentation, support ongoing SOX compliance initiatives, and provide required materials for internal and external audits.* Collaborate within the accounting center to support team work load and ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks.**YOU HAVE:*** Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 3+ years of accounting experience is required.* Experience with Oracle and/or OneStream is helpful.* Proficient with all Microsoft Office products.* CPA or CMA preferred but not required.* Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities.* Able to present information and respond to questions from individuals at all levels of our multi-faceted organization.* A collaborative teammate and self-starter who is looking to grow professionally.* Ability to travel quarterly to our Millington, MD location (applicable to candidates hired at alternate locations).**WE HAVE:*** A dynamic global reach with diverse operations around the world that will stretch your abilities, provide plentiful career opportunities, and allow you to make an impact every day + nVent is a leading global provider of electrical connection and protection solutions. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance.
