nVent in Hybrid role (St Louis Park, MN) seeks a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead month-end close for multiple entities, oversee intercompany processes, and ensure precise financial reporting. You will manage complex areas including stock-based compensation and acquisitions, coordinate actuarial valuations, and partner with FP&A on budgets.

The ideal candidate has a CPA (preferred), 8+ years in accounting, strong US GAAP knowledge, and experience with SAP/Oracle and OneStream.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting and finance experience, including public company experience; 4+ years of people leadership.
• Strong foundation in corporate accounting, financial reporting, and general ledger management.
• Advanced knowledge of U.S. GAAP, internal controls, and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience with SAP or Oracle and OneStream for financial consolidation and close management.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities across multiple corporate entities to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting.
• Oversee intercompany accounting, ensuring allocation of payroll, insurance, and shared expenses across legal entities.
• Review and approve journal entries and reconciliations; perform balance sheet and income statement reviews.
