Responsibilities of Senior Accountant

• Manage month-end close (MEC) activities and journal entries.
• Prepare balance sheet and inventory reconciliations.
• Handle intercompany accounting and account reconciliations.
• The Senior Accountant will maintain fixed asset schedules and record accruals.
• Support general ledger accuracy and financial reporting.
• Identify discrepancies and assist with process improvements.

Requirements of Senior Accountant

• 5+ years of accounting experience.
• Strong GL and month-end close experience.
• Experience with balance sheet and inventory reconciliations.
• The Senior Accountant must have strong Excel skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Preferred

• Manufacturing or distribution accounting experience.
