Purpose and background of the role.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for supporting key accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records, and providing financial analysis that supports business decision making. This role oversees bank and marketplace cash reconciliations, inventory and cost accounting activities, sales reporting validation, and margin analysis while contributing to the monthly close process and continuous improvement initiatives. The position plays a critical role in maintaining accurate financial reporting and supporting the continued growth across multiple sales channels.
Prepare, analyze, and resolve variances across all operating and treasury accounts.
Maintain accurate inventory valuation, monitor costing, and support monthly close entries.
Validate completeness and accuracy of sales data across all channels.
Track deposits, chargebacks, and timing differences specific to Walmart settlements.
Reconcile Amazon payouts, fees, and reserve balances.
Analyze product and channel margins to support financial insights and decision-making.
