Job summary

Premier Truck Group in La Crosse, Wisconsin, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our finance team. You will prepare financial statements, analyze ledgers, and manage month-end close with accuracy and timeliness.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, dealership experience preferred, and strong Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook skills. We offer a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• A college degree in accounting or a related field is required.
• A minimum of one year experience in a dealership environment preferred.
• Experience with the automotive sales, service and parts industry a plus.
• Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Prepare financial statements, statistical Reports and Bank Reconciliations.
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare and post journal entries during month end close.
• Perform balance sheet and budget comparison analysis and explain variances.
• Responsible for dealership depreciation/fixed assets.
• Responsible for dealership factory payable recon.
• Responsible for deposit reconciliation/posting.
• Responsible for balance sheet account reconciliation.
• Responsible for calculation of sales and use tax.
• Responsible for warranty-payments and credit memos.
• Responsible for AP invoice approvals and verification.
• Audit sales analysis.
• Maintain and post/apply and verify all monies on truck sales.
• Process customer refunds.
• Provide daily dealership assistance.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Experience with the automotive sales, service and parts industry a plus
• Advanced level of experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding all business and employment issues.
• Operating all necessary office equipment.
