Job summary

AM CPA, located in Kansas City, MO, seeks a Senior Accountant to join a fast-paced, collaborative, and enjoyable team. This is a role focused on building a career in a non-traditional accounting environment with a strong emphasis on teamwork and client service.

The role covers monthly/quarterly accounting, bank reconciliations, financial statement prep, year-end close, and payroll/state registrations, with opportunities to work on diverse consulting projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Accounting (or related field) preferred.
• 1-3 years of financial statement and general ledger maintenance experience preferred.
• Payroll experience preferred.
• QuickBooks experience preferred.
• Accounts payable experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monthly/Quarterly accounting in QuickBooks.
• Monthly/Quarterly Bank Reconciliations.
• Monthly/Quarterly Financial Statement Preparation.
• Year-end close (adjusting and depreciation entries).
• Accounts Payable.
• Accounts Receivable.
