Job summary

CFS is seeking a Senior Accountant in the Greater Janesville area to join a fast-growing organization. The role focuses on month-end close, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations in a dynamic environment with opportunities for advancement.

The position expects strong technical accounting skills, 3+ years of experience in public or corporate accounting, and ERP system expertise. Compensation ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA preferred.
• Public Accounting experience, ideally in Audit.
• ERP System experience.
• 3+ years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end journal entries for financial statements.
• Prepare monthly sales tax journal entries.
• Prepare monthly journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Document procedures relating to the preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Identify, investigate and resolve issues relating to journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Assist with accumulating necessary documents and reporting for supporting documentation.
• Fixed Asset Accounting.
• Analysis of trends and variance reporting.
