Job summary

The Bachrach Group is assisting a growing, publicly traded manufacturing and services organization in Houston to recruit a Senior Accountant. This role features a hybrid schedule (4 days in office / 1 day remote), exposure to complex revenue streams and project accounting, and significant interaction with leadership.

You will lead month-end close, prepare journal entries and reconciliations, analyze performance metrics, and support budgeting, forecasting and audits while partnering with

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of accounting experience.
• Manufacturing and/or Oilfield Services experience required.
• CPA and/or MBA strongly preferred.
• POC (Percentage of Completion) accounting experience preferred.
• ERP experience.
• Proactive, high-energy professional seeking long-term career growth.

Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close activities.
• Prepare journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Analyze financial and operational performance metrics.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
• Partner with operations to improve business performance.
• Assist with POC revenue recognition processes.
• Drive process improvements and internal control initiatives.
• Participate in cross-functional projects and business planning.
