Job summary

The Bolton Group is hiring for a Senior Candidate for its Corporate Office in Cobb County. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing.

This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office—Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday—with work-from-home on Mondays and Fridays. The role requires strong organizational skills and an analytical approach to issues.

Qualifications

• Experience with US GAAP reporting and month-end close processes.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics or equivalent.
• CPA preferred or CPA candidate with relevant large-firm experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with US GAAP.
• Assist with month-end close and related reconciliations.
• Prepare journal entries with supporting documentation.
• Close financial accounting subsystems in Oracle.
• Assist with annual audit process and notes.
• Analyze expenses and variances for management.

A billion dollar global manufacturer needs to hire a Senior Candidate for their Corporate Office in the Cobb County. The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and customer billing. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset. This is a hybrid position with 3 days in the office- Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday with WFH on Mondays and Fridays. Profit sharing plan (target is 0% to 21% plus a 5% annual bonus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with US GAAP
• Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
• Reconciliations , documentation and analytics
• Prepare journal entries, including development of supporting documentation and calculations
• Close financial accounting subsystems in Oracle
• Assist with the annual audit process including the draft of the financial statements and related notes
• Research and analyze expense variances for company management

Qualifications

• If you have Industry Experience (ideally from a large and complex company- 2-5 years experience would be ideal (manufacturing)
• Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience
• CPA preferred
• If you are a CPA or CPA Candidate with Large Public Accounting Firm 2-3 years experience on either the Assurance side would be sufficient
