Job summary

CFS, based in Fresno, California, seeks a Senior Accountant to lead month-end and year-end close, prepare journal entries, and maintain general ledger reconciliations. You will support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed, and contribute to financial reporting and analysis.

Qualifications

• BS in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end close experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
• Support accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll functions as needed.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
• Support audits and tax-related documentation.
• Work within ERP/MRP systems to maintain accurate financial records.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and internal controls.
