Job summary

Daher in Fort Lauderdale, FL, seeks a Senior Accountant to join US General Ledger Accounting. You will ensure accurate financial information, support month-end/year-end close, and partner with Finance, AP, AR, Tax, Procurement, and Corporate Accounting teams to maintain IFRS-compliant reporting across North America. This role offers exposure to global operations and cross-functional processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably general ledger accounting.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Strong Excel skills including PivotTables, formulas, and data analysis.
• Knowledge of IFRS and CPA designation (or progress toward) preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, depreciation, and other month-end transactions.
• Perform account analyses, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance investigations.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close activities.
• Manage intercompany accounting, reconciliations, and consolidation support.
• Assist with financial reporting and ensure IFRS compliance.
• Maintain fixed asset records and related accounting activities.
• Support audits, tax reporting, and compliance requirements.
• Identify process improvements and participate in system/reporting enhancements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international teams for timely reporting.

Daher's North America Headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, Florida serves as the regional hub for Business Support and shared services, supporting operations across the United States while coordinating closely with global teams. The headquarters is home to key functions including Human Resources, Finance, Legal, IT, Procurement, and Logistics Business Development, providing strategic, operational, and administrative support to Daher's Aircraft, Industry, and Logistics divisions. Teams based in Fort Lauderdale collaborate across functions and regions to drive business growth, ensure compliance, and enable workforce strategy, financial governance, systems support, supplier management, and customer and business development initiatives across North America.

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join our U.S. General Ledger Accounting team. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supporting month-end and year-end close processes, and partnering with Finance, AP, AR, Tax, Procurement, and Corporate Accounting teams.

What you need to have:

Information related to the position:

The compensation range is $80,000 to $107,000 USD base salary plus an annual target bonus.

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Daher considers a number of factors when determining salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, skills, and current market conditions.
