Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or equivalent certification preferred
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills
• Experience with accounting systems and payroll platforms
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Oversee and review payroll processing to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Prepare and post journal entries and general ledger transactions
• Oversee customer billing processes and ensure timely invoicing
• Review and approve invoices in accordance with company policies
• Validate payroll calculations, benefit deductions, PTO balances, and payroll-related reconciliations
• Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
• Monitor cash receipts and assist with account reconciliations
• Ensure accurate recording of payables and timely payment processing
• Manage payroll journal entries and related accounting activity
• Support month-end and year-end close processes
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare financial statements and management reporting packages

Experience & Education
