Job summary

Jusczak Companies is seeking a Senior Accountant to strengthen our financial operations in a growing family of transportation and logistics businesses. This on-site role focuses on month-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting audits and budgeting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, strong GAAP knowledge, and proficiency in NetSuite and Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting.
• Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred.
• Experience managing month-end close and account reconciliations.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform month-end and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements.
• Oversee AP, AR, and payroll reconciliations.
• Maintain and improve accounting processes and internal controls.
• Perform financial analysis and support budgeting and forecasting efforts.

Position Summary

The Senior Accountant is responsible for daily accounting activities, accounts payable and receivable, payroll reconciliations, account reconciliations, and supporting month-end close processes. This role is ideal for someone looking to build their accounting career within a growing organization. This is a fully on-site position that requires regular in-office attendance and offers opportunities for in-person collaboration with the team.

Key Responsibilities
