Navigator Recruiting client in Denver, CO is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the Accounting & Finance team in the Denver Tech Center (DTC). This full-time, in-office role reports to the Controller and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities include daily accounting activities, reconciliations, FP&A support, monthly reporting, and acting as a backup for core finance processes. A Bachelor’s in Accounting and 3+ years of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• 3+ years of accounting experience.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience with QuickBooks, NetSuite, Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Bill.com and ADP is helpful but not required.
• Detail oriented and collaborative.

Responsibilities

• Partner with the Controller and Accounting & Finance team to support daily operations.
• Review day-to-day accounting activities: reconciliations, vendor/contract mgmt, intercompany entries, journal entries.
• Assist in financial planning/analysis, variance analysis, and monthly reporting.
• Serve as backup for A/R, A/P, bank reconciliations, payroll.

Navigator Recruiting client is a fast-growing company, having grown by 37% over the last three years and plans to continue growing. The firm is seeking to hire a Senior Accountant, to join the Accounting & Finance team in DTC and help the growing finance operations. The Staff Accountant will report to the Controller and work on an Accounting & Finance team of 5 people - all in the DTC office.

This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Denver Tech Center (DTC) office. Hours are typically Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm with some overtime possible at busier times.

Responsibilities:

• Workhand-in-hand with the Controller and help support the Accounting & Finance team


• Review/manage the day-to-day accounting activities for the firm, including account reconciliations, vendor and contract management, intercompany entries and reconciliations, and perform journal entries as needed.


• Assist in performing financial planning and analysis, variance analysis and financial reporting on a monthly basis.


• Act as a backup for other accounting processes, including accounts receivable (A/R), accounts payable (A/P), bank and credit card reconciliations, and payroll..

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required; Advanced degree and/or CPA is preferred but not required.


• 3+ years of accounting experiencerequired.


• Understanding of GAAP.


• Highly analytical, organized, and collaborative, with strong communication skills.


• Experience using QuickBooks, NetSuite,Microsoft Office, Salesforce, Bill.com & ADP ishelpful but not required.
